This past weekend Ryan, Cameron and I went to the Farnsworth Family Reunion. We all had a really good time. Cameron loved running around in the "wild" getting dirty. I guess I don't let him do enough of that at home. It rained, of course, it always does. Kyle and Family had a crazy experience- Hence the reason I will NOT camp in a tent at that reunion. Not that I would camp in a tent otherwise... LOL. Here are some pics of Cameron enjoying his time.
We had to get Kyle to look at this branch before Cameron would- oh well, whatever it takes to get the picture, right?
Cameron looking at Daniel brushing his teeth in this shot- we also have a picture of Daniel doing that to prove that it DOES happen- hehe.
This is Ryan's aunt Sherri (sp). She was making Cameron laugh so hard- it was adorable!
Cameron playing with the hoola-hoop.
Ryan's dad and brothers had set up a hammock and Ryan and Cameron had a lot of fun in it.
Just some cute shots I liked.

Swim Pad Play Date
Today Cameron and I went to our second play date. It was a lot of fun. The women are really nice and the kiddos are so fun. This park is in Chandler and it is so much fun! Cameron loved it. It was a really nice way to escape the heat for the morning. I attached some pictures of Cameron having a blast!

Camping
We went camping this weekend to escape the heat and break in our new RV. With Cameron there "testing" everything out we definitely broke her in. While he was testing out the steps he fell and cut open his lip- gushing blood. Ok... maybe not gushing... but there was a LOT. Poor guy. After we gave him a rag to suck on he felt a lot better. We went on a walk to the fish hatchery and the creek- Cameron LOVED it. We had to drag him away. The water was freezing- Ryan said just like Idaho water. LOL. Here are some pics(okay many, but I took a ton of course).
Our RV
Cameron's lip- the top is looking a little fuller than normal- and it had already gone down a lot.
Some shots of Ryan and Cameron. Cameron really like riding on Ryan's shoulders- he got handles and water bottles.
Some cute ones of Cameron
Cameron in the water
Some still lifes- I am starting to like taking these more. They don't run or avoid the camera.

Swimming Lessons
Cameron and I have been taking swimming lessons. It's more of a way to get out of the house and heat than anything, but Cam also loves the water. I've learned a couple of things from this experience. They are as follows:
1. Cameron doesn't have a lot of fear. The pool we are at has zero entry which is where we have the lessons which makes it nice for the smaller kids so they can stand. Well Cameron, even after falling several times, doesn't seem to realize he can't breathe underwater. He just keeps walking with his body getting further and further under. He gets to his chin and you think he would stop but no- keeps going until he can't touch. I bring him up sputtering and he tries to walk away again.
2. Toddlers don't like to be held in one place. At least I hope it's toddlers and not just my son. Even if this holding in one place involves singing fun songs and blowing bubbles. If I try to make Cameron stay in the circle he starts saying "Eeeeeeeeee" really LOUD. All the mom's with toddlers look at me in commiseration. The mom's with younger babies look at me like I am abusing my son. Just wait, I want to tell them, and I would like to be there to see their kiddo's meltdown. Muahahahahaha. I feel like I'm going through the Terrible One's. If they are this tantrum filled I can't wait to see what the Terrible Two's have in store for us.
3. B is for Bubbles.

Biking Fun
We have a bike trailer and Cameron loves to take rides in it. We went for a ride yesterday and I had left it outside. I was putting it away this morning and rearranging some stuff in the garage to make it fit better. Cameron was helping. I put something away and I turned around to check on him and he was sitting in the bike trailer with his helmet on (backwards of course)! LOL! I think he may have been telling me that I needed more exercise and I couldn't resist his cuteness so we went for another ride today. Here are some pics of him in action- and yes, those are his pajamas.

More Fun Play with Cameron
Because I'm no longer in school, YAY!, I am home with Cameron all the time now. I think he has begun to realize that his mom can be boring sometimes. He can only take so much dishes and laundry (can't we all??) before he seeks his revenge. So I've decide to start trying some new activities.
We made a course that Cameron had to follow out of pillows (thanks, Anna). Cameron didn't like following it but he did like climbing over it. Over and over and over again. At least he was entertained for a little while- and of course I took pictures.
We also made a "fort". Took three chairs and a blanket and it has provided us with days of entertainment- yes I kept it up that long! Right in the middle of my living room. His favorite thing to do is play hide and seek. He will hide under there until you say his name several times and then he will come out babbling with the biggest grin on his face! LOVE IT!

4th of July
I know a lot of you might not know this but July, in Arizona, is really HOT. That might be an understatement. So instead of sitting in the heat outside we decided to sit in a pool outside (Thanks Rob and Tracy). I REALLY miss watching fireworks but not enough to bake myself while watching them. I think the 4th of July celebrations should be moved to November in AZ. That way the fireworks and festivities can be watched in comfort. Here are some pics of our swimming fun.
Cameron Loved getting in and out of the water by himself. That's actually what he did most of the time while in the pool.
Hope everyone had as great a holiday as we did!

Finger-Painting Fun
Today Cameron and I had our first experience with finger-painting. I think I'll just let the pictures help me tell the real story....
You can tell by his expression that he is in love with his smock... and maybe a little nervous about what is going to happen.
Of course the first thing Cameron does after getting paint on his fingers is to put the those fingers directly into his mouth. He loved the result.
And even after I had nicely cleaned out his mouth for him he still didn't like it. Hmmm... This kid doesn't like bread or fingerpaints. I don't think he's related to me.
I did it!
I am FINALLY done with my bachelors! And it only took me 9 years. I really think they should give me a doctorate... hmmmm...wonder who I need to talk to about getting that done. It really is a good thing I finally graduated because getting confused for being the professor all of the time was really not doing good things for my ego. The best part of it all- I get to start paying back my student loans. Yippee! Maybe I need to find a job....
Here's a graduation photo. Try and pick me out. I'll send anyone who can find me a dollar.
