Our Easter Festivities

We started off by dying eggs with Cameron last night. He did surprisingly good- especially considering he hadn't had a nap (gaaaaahhhhhh!). We did of course strip him down first.

Then onto Sunday...
VICTORY! First egg ;)

Can't trick me mom...

Filling up the basket.

Egg... what egg??

Oh! You must mean the ones in my basket!
He seriously stood by that egg with us giving him hints for a couple of minutes. LOL!

He saw this egg all on his own. He took off running, trips over his feet, does a fall on the basket, rolls, gets up and keeps running. That's my boy!

Easter family pics. Notice my loverly constipated-looking smile in both. I couldn't get the remote to work so I was concentrating on pushing the button. These were the end result. ha!

We ended the day with dinner at Kemp's house. It was really good and Cameron had lots of fun playing with his cousins. And looking through the binoculars ;)

Hoppy Easter

Cameron really wanted nothing to do with the camera today until I promised him some candy. But his outfit was so cute I just had to get some pictures of him in it. And of course add some bunny ears to make it seem Easter"y". And no, he didn't get to eat the whole chocolate bunny. He only got about three bites before I took it away- poor guy.

Just keep knitting.....

So recently I have been taking a knitting class so that I can actually learn how to knit- and I REALLY like it. It's actually quite relaxing- when I'm not trying to do it around Cameron anyway. He doesn't like me knitting apparently. I tried teaching myself through a cd/reading but I just never "got" it. So through this class I've actually learned something- and I made a facecloth. Yes, there are some bigger holes but it's my first try so you've got to give me a break on those. And it's not like I'll be selling it- just giving it away. LOL!

My next project is the "Easiest Baby Blanket". I'm hoping that it's easy enough that I can actually get it done before Azer gets here. And heck- if I just keep knitting everyone can look forward to fabulous knitted creations as gifts ;)

Finally Some Good News

So we finally had some good news today- in the form of a law school acceptance! Ryan got into Rutgers! It's been a looooooonnnnggggggg month and our (my) patience has been tried but it 's good to see that our prayers might finally be answered. He still has a couple schools to hear back from and then we can make our decision about what to do. Either way I can't wait for this indecision "period" to be over and for our adventure to begin.
After his job ended he has worked so hard at getting work and keeping busy. He is really amazing at finding odd jobs and he busts his tail providing for his family. It has been hard because there have been several days where Cameron doesn't see him at all- but their time together seems that much sweeter. Thank you for all that you do for us hubby!
CONGRATS RYAN!! New Jersey here we come... well maybe ;)

Happy Birthday Cameron!

Today was Cameron's birthday and what a fun day he had! Kyle, Amber, Bradley and Ethan came over to help him celebrate his big day. He got a lot of presents- and a TON of Cuuuuuuu clothes. Here are some pictures of his big day

Opening a present. Every present he opened he would take to Kyle to hold. Too funny!

Playing outside. I really just added this picture so that people can see the jungle we have growing in our backyard.

Watching as we sing "Happy Birthday" to him.

Blowing out the candle.

Bradley eating a cupcake.

Ethan reaching for a fresh cupcake.

Cameron is the best two year old that I could have asked for. He is so much fun and he laughs so easily. He has a hard time staying mad- even amidst a tantrum. He still will give me kisses and hugs which really just warms my heart. He loves to sneak into our bed at night after we have laid him down so that he can sleep in there. Most of the time we don't have the heart to move him after he has done this. Good thing it doesn't happen too often because he is a crazy sleeper. Thanks everyone for all of the wonderful gifts and calls!
